Northwestern
Tools, a family run organization, was founded in 1942 by Gene Thomeczek,
who foresaw an industry need for quality machine tooling. From its
beginnings on Northwestern Avenue in Dayton, Ohio (hence the name),
Northwestern Tools has grown from an initial offering of 4 items
to an array of over 2000 items with new products constantly being
added. This growth forced Northwestern to move to its present Valleywood
Drive location in 1968 to house the growing production needs.

Now
being run by a second generation of Thomeczeks, Northwestern
has kept the “family atmosphere” alive within its
employees, evidenced by its employee retention rate. A third
of its employees have over 20 years with the company. This “family
atmosphere” is also evident during crisis times when everyone
pitches in together to get things accomplished. |

The years of growth
at Northwestern Tools can be attributed to its original philosophy.
Offer excellent quality products, made with American labor and American
parts, at a reasonable price, sold directly and through a national
network of industrial distributors, and deliver them promptly. Same
day shipping is achieved on 99% of all orders.
Though the majority
of business comes from Northwestern’s standard product line,
special needs products can be developed to meet customer requirements.
A call or fax to our sales people can get the ball rolling.
Our story of success is simple. Take a simple idea. Do it very well.
Mix in a good measure of quality, service, and same day shipping,
and you have our commitment to you. |
